Candles are a home and wellness accessory sent from above to warm your physical space as well as your soul. Scented candles do this with a seasonal twist. I can’t think of anything better than snuggling up on the couch with a blanket and sweater and lighting one of these gems – each one more woodsy, sensual and spicy than the last. When you think of fall , there’s always a sense of freshness with its inherent warmth, like sitting on a wooden porch with a cup of coffee or leaving the window open in your apartment to feel the breeze. These candles conjure up all that and more. There are notes of ash, leather, wood, spice, cashmere, vanilla, cinnamon and more to fill your nose and body with calm and excitement. Truth be told, I could wax poetic about scented candles all day. But I know you get the picture.
There are plenty of new options, some classics, and of course, something for everyone. In fact, if I were you (and because I already have), I’d buy a few and stock up on storage for the coming season. You never know when you’ll need a pick-me-up.
